Last month we released
Studio Controls COM 64,
a totally new product, yes - based on fifteen of our original 32-bit
ActiveX controls, however, this new product introduces a complete set of
32 bit and 64 bit Unicode Compliant development and deployment controls.
Intended for 64 bit COM development environments including Visual C++,
LabVIEW and Microsoft Access for instance, the 32 bit controls included
in Studio Controls COM 64 work perfectly in Visual Fox Pro, VB6 and your
other favourite 32-bit DE's. If you're interested in additional 32 bit
only Unicode compliant controls, more on that later under the New
Developments section.
Resource Scheduling is always near and dear to our hearts so we bring a
few technical aspects in to view helping along with Silverlight and
Windows Forms development.
To round out his month, we're also looking ahead to the new developments
underway for WPF, Windows Forms and a little more ActiveX. |

Solutions Schedule .NET Time Bar Styles |

Greetings and salutations, today we are going to take a quick peek at
the Timebar style and how we can use them to achieve custom
presentations including fade fills and stacked time bars.
Each time bar can be assigned a special “style” that controls how it
appears. The styles themselves can modify the default appearance of
timebars tremendously. For example we can apply fade effects, set the
height and offset so we can “stack” bars on top of each other, and we
can apply start/end images. While we have the nuts and bolts of how to
do this in our demo applications, sometimes they look more intimidating
than they really are. For example lets say I want three unique time bar
styles, I can declare 3 global variables (modular or form level,
whichever appeals to your sense of programming)
