“ Why and
How Access Developers must protect themselves.”
WHY? - Applications which are
written in Access, and which are distributed in a 2000 and earlier MDB
format, permit a user to access DBI controls in a design environment
which is beyond the license rights which are sold with a developer’s
license.
WHY? - When working in Microsoft Access 2007 with an earlier version of a DBI component. In the latest edition of Microsoft Access (2007) it should be noted that Microsoft has discontinued traditional OLE licensing support.
