Studio Controls for .NET (v1.1) - What's New

dbiTips - makes its debut in version 1.1 and an outstanding performer for Presenting ToolTip based information in context with your application design standards. Incorporate masked / irregular shaped tooltips with user drawn items, custom headings, data, multiple images, the latest in Windows presentation styles - this WinForms / Smart Client Tooltip control has it including the 'kitchen sink'.

Studio controls for .NET has seen eleven (11) product updates since the last major release December 17, 2008 incorporating component documentation updates and these specific component updates:

Intellisense Enhancement : DBI is now making available for Studio Controls for .NET and Solutions Schedule for .NET individual component XML Intellisense files allowing the properties/ methods/ events and enums to be surfaced in the intellisense of Visual Studio .NET. The intellisense XML files are provided as part of this major release and also through the update service for current subscription owners. The specific Studio Controls files can be found at:

Versioning :: It's important to note that Studio Controls for .NET (as well DBI's other component products) are continuously updated during the subscription release period noted by minor version increments for example 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.11. Version 1.1.0.0 displays that there has been a significant product enhancement by incorporating an additional component to the product for instance. Should a significant change be required to the product licensing or an overall enhancement to all of the components for a new version of Windows for instance, then in these cases a full version Increment will be initiated.
