The ctAlarm object is a programmable alarm capable
of firing single or recursive alarms.The
control is an invisible component that
can be programmed to reference date-time events that have been stored to a
queue. At the appointed time, an alarm event is fired. When the alarm
event is fired, users can be alerted to a particular event or
time-sensitive processes can be automatically started.
