ctClock
Everyone's constant
variable - time. Any end user of a time sensitive application is
always checking the time and what an easy way to accommodate your
constituents than with ctClock.
ctClock can be used to view a clock in an analog or
a digital format.
The
component continually scans the system time for presentation of the
current time. The clock includes its own styles for analog and digital
interfaces which can be further enhanced with a developer's own
selection of bitmap images.
ctClock features include:
Set TIME using the
Clock : When in analog
display, ctClock will accept input using a mouse. Dragging forward or
backward on the component using the left mouse button will set the minute
hand. Dragging with the right button sets the hour hand. A TimeChange is
fired when the current time property value changes.
Offset
Time Properties :
SetHour, SetMinute, and SetSecond are offset properties for the current time. By
adjusting the values of these properties, the clock can display time from
another time zone. These properties may also be used to simulate a
stopwatch.
Built-in
Alarm : The AlarmHour,
AlarmMinute, and AlarmSecond properties can be set to fire when the current time matches the alarm time.
Variety of
Display Options :
Time can be displayed in analog or digital format, military format, with
or without seconds, with or without AM/PM indicator.
Simulated
Transparency: Provides a
transparent background without requiring the host language to support
transparency through its OLE container.
This allows transparency to be provided to a larger number of
development environments.
