dbiExplorerBar is a multifaceted presentation control designed for developers wanting to add elegant end-user navigation features to their software. Selecting from a variety of
stock XP and Vista styles and formats, creating custom branded
presentations can be a breeze.
Design-Time Support :
Integrated menu designer lets developers
visually build the menu in the design surface (add/remove items,
XML Support : Read and write XML files at design and run time that describes the current presentation (write) or change the current presentation (read). Additional XML support (Style Files) allows the control to be placed onto a form and when the control goes to run time, it will search for the style file. If found, the control will change it's appearance as it is first drawn allowing the developer to change the look and feel of the control without having to re-compile the host application. List Panels : By default, each group header can have an assigned collection of list items. Also, setting the group header as a panel will allow hosting of other external objects. These settings can be implemented at design time allowing the panels and their contents to be designed right then. Image Support : An image can be assigned to a group header or list item directly, or by pointing at an image with an image list control. Smooth Scrolling : The drop list can appear and disappear through a smooth scrolling action. Gradients : The control supports gradient backgrounds for both the title bar and for the main body.
Customize The Look : dbiExplorerBar provides many features that allow developers to customize this control for signature navigation and UI presentations. Specify colors and fonts foritems encapsulated in the control including color and font for menu items and the title bar in a selected, unselected, and mouse-over states. Modify the shape of the title bar to give the control a different appearance.
