XMLWrite Property

Writes the control information to an XML file that can be read with ReadXMLFile Method, XMLRead Property or XMLStyleFile Property. This property will allow you to write your XML file from the design environment, enter the first part of the file name you wish to use in the property editor (at least 4 characters) and press enter to access a file dialog.

Remarks

This property is available at design time only. To write an XML file in code, use the WriteXMLFile Method.

The XML files will only store string or numeric property settings. The XML file will not store image or object information.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Current Windows operating system with .NET 8.
