Working with Entry ID's

An “Entry ID” is a multi-character code used to identify appointments, contacts, locations, and tasks.

NOTE: When a Contact, Location, Task, or Appointment class is created without specifying an EntryID one will be assigned automatically by the class.

Why is the Entry ID Important?

When a brand new appointment, contact, location, or task class is created, the control must be able to identify it uniquely. The EntryID value identifies the class uniquely and allows for the description of relationships between appointments and locations, contacts, and/or tasks.

NOTE: Grouping and Filter functionality require EntryID's.
